hello,
i'm not sure if this is the best place to put this new topic but i have to try, this is a picture with my grand-grand father,all that i know abut is that he died in krimea some where between 42-43, killed by a shell. i'm interest to find what uniform he wear's in this pic. and what is he's military grade at that moment . thanx in advance,Alex |

hi, does anybody know where could i get some information about him,... as, place of death, from which company was, maybe some medals ... if he received some,where should I look for ... also ,i wondring if the full name, date and place of birth are enough to receive some information's ... thanx in advance to everybod for info have a nice day all |

Try to acces www.once.ro , they have a list, on-line, with romanian soldiers who died on wars, if rem well, the are from Independence War (1877-1878), ww1 and ww2. If the name you search is not on the list, you can contact them and ask what you wish to find, as far as I know, they are responsive to this kind of requests.
