Hello,

This officer headed the Brigăda 3 Cavalerie in Summer 1940 and took temporary command over the Brigada 1 Motomecanizată early 1941. German archives indicate that he held this position in the last days of February 1941 ("Am 18. und 20. Februar 1941 haben zwischen mir und dem Stellvertretenden Kommandeur der rumänisches motorisiert mechanisiert Brigade eingehende Besprechungen über Planung und Durchführung der Ausbildung stattgefunden. Der eigentliche Kommandeur der motorisiert mechanisiert Brigade ist der General Stoenescu, zZt Finanzminister, sein Vertreter für die Zeit seiner Ministertätigkeit ist Oberst Postelnicescu." (Abschrift/Ausbildung der rum. mot. mech. Brigade, Lehr-Panzer-Regiment 4 Abt.Ia Nr.70/41 g. v.26.2.1941, NARA T315 R639 file 701).
Apart that, he apparently joined the reserve as of August 31st, 1942 (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c0/Monitorul_Oficial_al_Rom%C3%A2niei._Partea_1_1942-08-04%2C_nr._179.pdf).

Has anyone some additional information about this colonel Postelnicescu?
