          Shown is the Romanian contract French revolver.  Contrary to popular belief, Romania did not procure the M1892, but rather this commercial French revolver.

          Romania adopted the 1892 french revolver, and was nominated Md 1896 . Is not a belief, is a fact, all romanian military museums have such items on display.
