Shown is the Romanian contract French revolver. Contrary to popular belief, Romania did not procure the M1892, but rather this commercial French revolver.

If anyone can post a picture of the issue holster, it would be most appreciated.

Romania adopted the 1892 french revolver, and was nominated Md 1896 . Is not a belief, is a fact, all romanian military museums have such items on display.
