Dear friends,

Please tell me what should I ask for if I want to know as accurate as posiible what military actions took place in a certain day for a certain military unit? Are these called "Jurnale de operatii"? I know I must adress to UM Pitesti - Centrul de Studii şi Păstrare a Arhivelor Militare Istorice „General Radu Rosetti” but I want to know the appropriate word.

Yes, generally the Operations Diary (Jurnal de Operatii) of the unit will contain the info you seeks. However, they are not always as detailed as one might think.
