Are there some marks on the flat sides of the hub?
You can try a question on

These numbers may indicate the year when it was made. For example on my half prop, on the hub, there are "25" and "31". This means it was made in 1925, the year corresponds to the prop number "31xxx" (propellers with a number starting with 31.. were made in that period, by this manufacturer).
What I said could be an indication, I've received for my prop on "woodenpropeller forum".

On your propeller you have "Serre" (serré), a French word.
Maybe your propeller is French.
Interesting to observe the technology: it was not made from one piece of wood, but from slices of wood glued together - before carving the final shape.

All wooden propellers were laminated for strength and flexibility. (The same principle as a "composite bow").

I need some info about a propeller .

I don't have any ideea what airplane used it, what period. What i know that the propellor comes from Galati airfield and it is from the war time. When i bought it it was in very bad condition, covered with fiberglass mad.gif .
Very old and no markings.....
2meters long.
