            I have the information that on 15 september 44 was shot down by german fighters ( Bf 109) the He 111 H6 no 57  at Cristur-Simeria. Only the pilot survived.

          From a report the plane crash in Cristur region (Cristur is also a village) - SV of Simeria. The only survivor was the pilot - adj. av. Aldea Nicolae.

          Exista un raport oficial intocmit de o comisie de ancheta din care redau cateva informatii corecte, dar si informatiile din JO al escadrilei: 
        
        
      He-111 Nr.60 a fost doborat pe 17 septembrie 1944 de 2 Bf.109G germane in zona Aiud, dupa un bomb asupra triajului de la Apahida... Echipaj: Pilot Adj.Av. Ionescu Cornel, Obs.Slt.Av. Botez Marcel, rtf.mstr. Iliescu Gh., mitraliori: cap.Veres Ioan si cap Ciobanu Ioan... Urmeaza declaratiile membrilor echipajului. Va rog traduceti. There is an official report by an investigation committee from which I will list some information, as well as from the squadron's operations diary: He-111 No. 60 was shot down on 17 September 1944 by 2 German Bf109G in Aiud area, after a bombing raid on the Apahida railway marshaling yard. The crew: pilot - adj. av. Cornel Ionescu, observer - slt. av. Marcel Botez, RO: mstr. Gheorghe Iliescu, machine-gunners: cap. Ioan Veres and cap. Ioan Ciobanu.       Definetly the Heinkel about I look is this nr.57 from Cristur-Simeria piloted by adj. Aldea Nicolae and also about an other He-111 of the same Aldea losted at Vanju Mare with two weeks before of 57.  |

      Misiunea Nr.2.Esc.78 B. a decolat cu 6 avioane la ora 15.35 atacind de la 4000 m. la ora 16.06 cu 22 bombe de 250 Kg. si 8 bombe de 50 Kg.=5900 Kg. defileul Ciucea. Au aterizat la ora 16.50. Protectie 6 I.A.R.-80. He-111H6 Nr.57 a cazut la Cistur doborit de 3 Bf.109 G germane, pierind tot echipajul Obs.Slt.Stoian Septimiu, rtf.Smstr. Ionescu Gh., mitr.Srg. Barsan Gh. si mitr. Srg.Botas Ion, in afara pilotului Adj.Stag.Av. Aldea Nicolae care s-a salvat cu parasuta. A fost atacat de Bf-109 G germane care l-au incendiat. 15 September 1944 Mission no. 2 of the 78th Bomber Squadron. Six bombers took off at 15:35. At 16:06, they dropped on the Ciucea Pass 22 250 Kg bombs and 8 50 kg bombs from an altitude of 4000 m. The escort was provided by 6 IAR-80s. The He-111H6 No. 57 was shot down at Cristur by 3 German Bf-109Gs. With the exception of the pilot adj. stg. av. Nicolae Aldea, who saved himself with the parachute, the entire crew was KIA: observer - slt. Septimiu Stoian, RO - smstr. Gheorghe Ionescu, machine-gunners - serg. Gheorghe Barsan and serg.
