Am cautat partial in documentele mele si am identificat:

------------------------------------------------

"25.05.1944 - At 20 hours a German BV-138 that took off from Mamaia lake for testing night flight instruments crashed during landing, the pilot and the technician drawning"

Possibly not this one, there are documents still to be studied.

Many thanks mr. Antoniu for sharing, indeed it seems by the damage that the hydroplane "capsized", the entire upper part of the fusselage seems broken.

----------------------------------------------

It is possible the wings were cut off to clear the area, and the fuselage turned over on side to clear the bottom of the lake.

Blohm & Voss BV 138 Seedrache (Sea Dragon, but nicknamed Der Fliegende Holzschuh (flying clog)).
