The 3 attached photos from my Russian book are depicting
3 various time frames. 1. Soviet Army at Basarabia after it came into Russian hands in 1940, note, all platoon members depicted were later on KIA in 1941. Also note the clean uniforms for PR purposes. Rumanian Army mid 1942 at Donbas railway station and last the 2nd Ukrainian front infantery regiment crossing Basarabia towards Rumania in 1944.
