M. 1889 artillery dagger

Fruntas Group: Members Posts: 67 Member No.: 3059 Joined: May 07, 2011	Hello! Present to you M. 1889 artillery dagger found in the Romanian position battle at Odessa. Blade is well preserved, but there are a stamp on it. There remains room for guard. Is it possible to determine by whom and in what period released this instance? Capitan Group: Members Posts: 682 Member No.: 679 Joined: September 26, 2005	No, we cannot say who was issued this dagger to, the serial number is just a inventory number, not specific to a certain unit. But the dagger was probably issued to a artillery servant or second line soldier that was not issued with a long rifle equipped with a bayonet. Maybe an engineer. Nice find, the shrapnel damage is also very nice.
