Relic Mess tin, Stalingrad relic

Soldat Group: Members Posts: 8 Member No.: 3066 Joined: May 25, 2011	I got this mess tin out of Russia. Seller stated it was dug out of the ground outside of Volgograd (Stalingrad). Not too bad condition for a relic. Now if I can only find a non relic mess tin. Pretty cool find.

Capitan Group: Members Posts: 682 Member No.: 679 Joined: September 26, 2005	Very nice set, the dish is extremely rare (I have only seen 2 other, and booth in my collection ). A nicer bowl complete with the handle can be found but it's not very common, in good condition.
