Anyone could realise that if it was any truth in it, there would have been a "wave" of executions, another purge of some sort! I guess that's just a late-late theory meant to explain Stalin's inactivity in the few days after 22.06.1941, other than Suvorov's "depression", for example! -------------------- M

However, "MMM" has a good point: I am not aware of a wave of executions in July ... August 1941, and that would be certain in case of a poisoning attempt against Stalin.
