Some time ago, an IAR 80 made a short flight over Dambovitza river in Bucharest.

I believe it's an overstatement. It did indeed start it's flight over River Dâmbovita, but was promptly shot down, as it did not have the yellow Axis rear fuselage ring painted on.  Gen. Dénes |

Probably the pilot wanted to defect to Turkey (flying low over Dambovitza via Danube and Black Sea) |
