I wrote the small articles on wikipedia (ro/en). That was all I found. The T1 was also designated as "tractorul rapid cu șenile T-1 pentru artilerie" (T1 fast tracked tractor for artillery) in a small text about Constantin Ghiulai (the project leader).

There is more info about this project in this book: col. dr. Gheorghe Tudor, Forța de șoc. Schiță istorică a trupelor de tancuri din armata română, Editura Militară, București, 1982. However, it doesn't mention if it was armoured or not.
