unidentified knife, unknown combat knife

Soldat Group: Members Posts: 5 Member No.: 2240 Joined: September 02, 2008	hello members, my friend in Austria has got a interesting combat knife, that is older literature determined as sowjetunion, but in russian forums no one accept this opinion, it looks more like a french inspired type with leather scabbard, its believed a east Europe area piece, probably WW1 period, his piece have inscribed probably capturing note of german owner "Gefr.Siegel R.57" Thanks for any help,best regards,Andy My Webpage This post has been edited by AndyBl on January 21, 2011 12:22 pm
