Romanian army radios, radios| YAN |

Hi, Did the Romanian army have a radio at company level, they seem to have a signal squad of three men at company HQ, were these men have a radio, I have been seaching the net for what types of radios the Romanian army used but I cant find any data.

The Romanian designation is in the page on the site dedicated to the signal units: http://www.worldwar2.ro/organizare/?article=32
The radio types were designated F and G, RS1 (I think that was for the radio direction finder units). The transmitter power varied from 50 W to 2 kW, depending on the model. However, the main work horse of the Romanian signal units was still the telephone. |

There is a comprehensive book which includes this subject too:
gen-lt. Enciu Gheorghe, Posta si telecomunicatiile in Romania, Editura Stiintifica si enciclopedica, Bucuresti, 1984. You can find it on several old book selling sites. |

Thanks guys, I will equip my Romanian Infantry Company with one MAN M.1933 field telephone, that Romanian site is very good and I wish I could get similar for some of the other countries, the Yugoslave army from 1941 is one which I can find little or no info about its TO&E for an infantry company.
