I'm seeing references to a "Batalion 101 de Armament Special" assigned to the 1st Armored Division in 1941. Does anyone have any information on the organization of this unit?

Yes, it was a collection of AT and AA units.
You will find a detailed listing of the 1st Armored Division's OoB for 1941 in a table on page 9 of the the MODEList no. 3 issue (see http://www.worldwar2.ro/forum/index.php?showtopic=5354).
