Hi everybody,
Two weeks ago I was at the Longines Museum (St. Imier | Switzerland) and I donate a Longines aircraft clock type 4331, model that equipped IAR-80/81 and SM-79 aircrafts during WW2 period. This is one of the "milestones" of my projects and I have the hope that some day in a corner of the Longines Museum will be exhibited the watch but also the IAR-80 model and documents from Romanian archives brought together in this visit. The purpose of this message is to thank a lot to a few colleagues from WorldWar2 Forum that helped me in my "obsession" during the last year: Denes, Cantacuzino, Radub, horia, Dan Antoniu, Alexei2102, Victor ....hoping didn't forget anyone! It is a very noble and rare gesture what you did! I can only commend you for your great initiative. I only wish more people would do similar gestures to the benefit of history.
