Does anyone have any ideas about this uniform ? I don't understand the black shoulder epaulettes, collar and cuff patches. They appear to be old and original to the uniform but it does not make sense to me. Could this have been a costume shop modification ?

I looked closely at the wire braid in the black and it appears to be Austrian of origin. But why the mix on a Romanian tunic ?

I was able to obtain a close up photo of the braid, collar and shouldr board. Modified Romanian tunic to Austrian or just plain fantasy costume conversion ? Anybody know ?
