I have seen examples of early Romanian Gorgets worn in the mid to late 1800's. I have never seen one worn in the 1930's. Does anyone have any information about them, who wore them and how many different examples existed ? This is a photo of General George Garoescu wearing an Infantry Colonel's uniform Model 1934 with a beautiful Gorget around his neck. In the center of the Gorget is the insignia of the Romanian bull.

I know for sure that they were reinstated by Carol II in 1930's but I don't know any details.
