On the 9th and 10th of May 2009 it will be held at the Military National Museum at Bucharest the action with the title "The days of the Military National Museum".

It will take part romanian and bulgarian reenactors representing some historical periods, from 1866 to 1947.

What will they reenact? The Independance War? I visited the Museum recently, on april 15-th, but I barely had an hour and a half before closing time, so I should be back again - but I guess only in June I'll return to Bucharest. Too darn bad! :(

It's more a living history event, multi period from 1866-1947. I don't know 100% what all the participants will be but A6D will be reenacting 1866 Graniceri but our artillery unit will be in 1877 uniforms, There will also be soldiers in WWI uniform from Asociatia Dastina Strabuna from Oradea. The Bulgarians will be mainly 1877-78 Ruso-Turkish war and a few reenacting the Balkan War 1913. More I don't know at this moment.

The reenactors from Asociatia Datina Strabuna of Oradea will reenact transylvanian volunteers in romanian ww1 army, from the 3rd volunteers regiment Avram Iancu. Would someone please take a photo of the 88mm FLAK outside? The one painted in blue :) From close range, it doesn't seem very scary, although it was (rightfully, IMO) considered amongthe best weapons of WW2.
