Anima publishing house just releast its second title of the "Aeronautica română" collection. The book was written by aviation engineer  Alexandru Haiduc, and the title is: "Memoriile unui pasionat de aviaţie" ("Memories of an aviation enthusiast").

Alexandru Haiduc (26 aprilie 1936 – 11 februarie 2009) was an aviation engineer that had tight ties with romanian aeronautical industry, by participating in plane designs such as I.A.R. 817 şi I.A.R. 818.

Between 1968 and 1972 ing. Haiduc worked as manager (sef sectie) in I.R.M.A., coordinating the assimilation of the technology and the series production of B.N.2 - "Islander".

Aftewards he was involved in coordination of licence acquisition, material assimilation and the coordination of "Directia Industriei Aeronautice" of Ministery of Industries.

Unfortunately Alexandru Haiduc pass over before having enough time to tell his entire carrier, the last subject in the book being the story of B.N.2 - "Islander" import.

The current volume opens the  "Amintiri" series of  "Aeronautica română" collection, a section that allows the people that had impact in romanian aeronautical sector to tell their life stories and experience.
