Try this link http://www.arr.go.ro/g8as.htm for a short history of the Romanian Hs-129 unit.
For one of the Hs-129 aces see here: http://www.arr.go.ro/p044.htm (be careful that from 24 November those pages will disappear). There was no official personal tank killing score. The results were credited to the entire formation, which took part in the attack. Very rarely personal kills were mentioned, but there was no official scoring system, like in the Luftwaffe. In fact, as one veteran put it, it was pretty difficult to determine who destroyed a particular tank. They could not actually see the effect of their fire before the Hs-129 behind them commenced its own fire on the tank. So, from all of them, who actually delivered the fatal blow? The final result was more important to them, than the score. |
