Hi, all.
Does anyone know which is the exact color (RGB) of the Romanian roundel? I’m building a Me-109 G-6 and decals I have (Aeromaster) not agree me. Yellow is so light… I think yellow is a bit orange… I’m going to paint the roundels. Thanks in advance. Miguel A. Sánchez – España (Spain) |

There are no know specifications. If ARR used a standardised colour chart, then such a chart has not yet been discovered. The colours could vary and changed according to the mix, exposure and wear.
You can use "pure colours" hues of red, yellow and blue. If you have access to a RAL or FS charts, the best macthes are: Red = RAL 3001 Signalrot or FS11350 Yellow = RAL 1003 Signalgelb or FS13507 Blue = RAl 5005 Signalblau or FS15095 Please note that many decals get the blue wrong. The blue of the Romanian flag is a "French blue" but many decals show it as a "navy" ("bleumarin") colour, which is sometimes so dark that it may even appear black. Hope this helps, Radu This post has been edited by Radub on February 27, 2009 02:13 pm |
