I came across this photo from 1942, which shows a man in a civilian pilot gear. His nae is Puiu Antonescu. Since Puiu is a familiar version for Ion/Ioan, I though that maybe he could be adj. stag. av. Ioan Antonescu who I found among Aeronautical Virtue Order recipients in 1942 and 1945.
Does anyone have any details on adj. stag. Ioan Antonescu?  |

There was an Adj. pil. av. Ion Antonescu in the P.Z.L. P.11F-equipped Grupul 'Pamfil' fighter group in Sept. 1940.
