Can anyone give details and fate of this Regiment at Stalingrad, from November 42 to February 43 , where they were posted on the west/nw perimeter and under what German command they were placed after the encirclement? Thanks Ralph

At a first glance at the map, at the start of the Soviet offensive, the 1st "Rosiori" Regiment was deployed about 4 kilometers east of Kletskaya village, on the right flank of the 2nd "Rosiori" Regiment. This is the point where they were cut off by the Soviet thrust.
