I had 2 grand-grandfathers in ww2. The one from my mum's side died 2-3 years later after the war. Where he fought there was a huge amount of smoke and his lungs couldn't take it anymore. And the other one from my dad's side survived.

A friend of mine... His grandfathers were in the were... but funny thing is that one fought for Germany and the other one fought on the Allies side.

What about you? you had any family members in the war?
