I know some of you had access to the logbook of Mr. Manu.

I have an info that he had a take-off accident on 12 June 1943 (other source puts it on 17 June), with a Bf 109G, I believe on Tiraspol airfield.
Can anybody tell us the tactical number of his aircraft?
Was it a German or Rumanian marked '109?

The war diary of Mr. Dobran mentions that Adj. av. Manu was wounded in an air combat on 7 July 1944 over River Pruth (he reportedly downed a Soviet aircraft). Again, details on the 'Gustav' he flew that day are missing.

Was Laurentin Manu flying with Gr.9 vân or Gr.7 vân on the 12Jun43.
