Very useful for 2nd WW reenactment, as mod 66 uniform has little differences from mod 38.
I want to buy a coat or a long coat.

Hello Dragos!

What I need is a winter, field uniform. That`s made of heavy wool fabric (postav), has a collar closed with a metallic clip and inside the collar there is a white plastic strip to protect soldier's neck. Pants are stretched at the end to be put in boots. That's exactly the kind of clothes that many municipalities distributed to poor peoples, in the last 2 years. Before 1990, that uniform was used, in field, by both soldiers and officers.

Officers did have another uniform, made of light wool fabric (camgart). That is a suit to be worn with a tie and normal shoes; that has no connection with pre-war uniforms. So that's not interesting.

For the field uniform I need, tunic + pants is interesting, if not too expensive: they have the same colour!
Let me know what you have. Yours - Corbu

PS - Funny, we are both Ro but speaking english on that site... C

Hey Corbu.
Sorry mate but I don't have the normal soldier cloths only the officers uniforms.
its hard to get just the NCO cloths I haven't seen some of those in a while.
all I have right now is 3 uniforms. 2 Romanian officer from the 70-80's and one Russian from 82. in that category.
like you said its funny how we are both Romanian and we speak English on this site.
But that's the rule we need to speak only English, its not so bad. biggrin.gif
Sorry I don't have what you are looking for.
Cheers

That's life, my friend! All good things on this planet are:
a/ illegal
b/ imoral
c/ unavailable.
We are in case "c".
Still hope that somebody will discover in his garage an old RSR uniform! GP (garzi patriotice) works well, too.

About English. I think that ex-soldiers of Decebal had the same experience, obliged to speak latin while going in town, to the marketplace. This was the birth of romanian, isn't it? So, we are living a glorious moment...

Have a good day and thanks for the answer! Yours - Corbu
