Very well documented book about the romanians from Transylvania and Bucovina who were ex-AH soldiers, captured by russians.
Those romanians decided since 1916 to join romanian army as volunteers to fight against AH.
So, two volunteer Corps were raised, the first fighting on moldavian front against german and AH armies, the second one fighting in Siberia agaisnt bolshevic troops.
