I have a Stalingrad map in my collection. I was wondering how I would be able to ID the unit by markings on the map? Any ideas?

That seems more like a date to me (11-12 September)

It is the date of locations. There is also 14 September upright above Stalingrad name on map. Trying to figure out which unit was in that area.
