I have seen that a copy of the following book is on sale for $56 in the UK:
'Armata Romana In Al Doilea Razboi Mondial - Romanian Army in World War II' Dr. Florin Constantiniu et al. pub. Meridiane 1995 It apparently is a dual text book with many maps and illustrations. I was wondering if anyone has a read copy, and what their opinion of this book is? Also, if anyone knows how much might it cost of on sale in Romania, and whether $56 is reasonable for this book? Many thanks |

If you mean the brown cover, A5-size book, with two b/w photos on the cover, then it definitely not. It's a rather small paperback, which doesn't worth more than 10-12 dollars. My opinion, though. Gen. Dénes This post has been edited by Dénes on April 15, 2008 07:20 pm |

I know a grey covered "Romanian Army ....", between A4 and A3. But i do not remember the authors. The overall quality was rather good, but the text is quite "thin". Even though, 56 $ is quite expensive. I bought it at about 25$ (if i remember well, it was in 1996). This post has been edited by Bernard Miclescu on April 17, 2008 07:21 pm |

That's the one. It has good pictures and some maps. If you have time and living in Bucharest, you can go to the University square in Bucharest. I saw an exemple last year. But i do not know the price they are asking for it...
