I have seen that a copy of the following book is on sale for $56 in the UK:

'Armata Romana In Al Doilea Razboi Mondial - Romanian Army in World War II'

Dr. Florin Constantiniu et al. pub. Meridiane 1995

It apparently is a dual text book with many maps and illustrations. I was wondering if anyone has a read copy, and what their opinion of this book is? Also, if anyone knows how much might it cost of on sale in Romania, and whether $56 is reasonable for this book?

Many thanks

If you mean the brown cover, A5-size book, with two b/w photos on the cover, then it definitely not. It's a rather small paperback, which doesn't worth more than 10-12 dollars. My opinion, though.

I know a grey covered "Romanian Army ....", between A4 and A3. But i do not remember the authors. The overall quality was rather good, but the text is quite "thin". Even though, 56 $ is quite expensive. I bought it at about 25$ (if i remember well, it was in 1996).

That's the one. It has good pictures and some maps. If you have time and living in Bucharest, you can go to the University square in Bucharest. I saw an exemple last year. But i do not know the price they are asking for it...
