Jiu camp was built for polish troops.Eventualy they reached Palestine and during the war they built a beautiful small chapel on the place of the third station on The Way of the Cross ( Via Dolorosa ) It comemorates the place where Jesus fell for the first time.A marble plaque confirms that the construction was made by soldiers that escaped through Romania
