New problem for our project:
We have info that the 15th Division was renumbered 8th Division in December 1916, but then a 15th Division shows up later. Anyone know what happened? It doesn't appear to be part of the earlier amalgamation of divisions that occurred in the wake of the Transylvania mess.

BTW we're now down to 22 units to complete the project's initial phase (19 Romanian, 2 Turkish, and the Royal Newfoundland Regiment). Getting there slowly.

Believe it or not, 8th division captured in Bessarabia the largest bombardier used in WW1. See dedicated topic on this forum.
