Mannlicher 85's are rare rifles are you sure you are not looking for a 95 or 93 bayonet?
If you are interested in 95 bayonets you might try to find the in Bulgaria I have seen M95 bayonets brought from Bulgaria in Romania for 300ron  . |

If you want to acquire a bayonet for reenacting, I think the best solution is to decide upon the Czech VZ-24 model (also known as ZB bayonet in Romania). This is the traditional Romanian bayonet used in WW2 and is still the most common weapon, easy enough to find in antique shops or on the flea market. These bayonets also fit with the rifles in the Military Museum.

Sorry for my typing mistake!!!!
It is about a M95, not 85 as I mistakenly written above. It is a bayonet wanted by a friend of mine. And if we are anyway talking about bayonets, I'd like to ask also for a Czech VZ-24 bayonet, this time for me  Thank you in advance  This post has been edited by 21 inf on October 28, 2007 07:15 pm |
