That's some sort of ID card. This is NOT wat I was asking for. Do you have any photos of German soldiers IN ACTION? _________________________ "History knows no greater display of courage than that shown by the people of Soviet Russia." Henry L. No its not "some sort of id card",
it is in fact a "Memoriam Card" or so called Death Card, sent by the Family to Relatives and close friends upon the death of a person, in this case a German pilot killed on the 13th of October 1941 on a mission over Moscow. aged 21. The sending of this type of card is a predominantly Catholic tradition which still takes place today in many Catholic Countries. The "movie still" looks more like a model tank diorama in 1/35th scale posed in front of a photographic background!!! Kevin in Deva This post has been edited by New Connaught Ranger on November 16, 2007 07:30 am |

NGOA, as this German Death Card notes, this soldier died IN ACTION, over Moscow. That's why I thought it might be of interest to you. Gen. Gen. Dénes, I am not interested in death certificates. I assume that German thought he would march in Moscow the same way his contrymen march in Paris.... Well, it seems like the story of Napoleon didn't teach him anything.... "History knows no greater display of courage than that shown by the people of Soviet Russia." Henry L.
