Are there any yard list, and yard history of the Galati shipyard.
There are two numbers cited with the Romanian submarines (No.929,No.930) , but I have look into modern registers so many tugs (reparations ?) built for Soviets 1950s #525 1963 ORADEA 300grt ... #853 1995 DONG YUAN 7565grt etc. |

There is a list and also a history of the Galatzi Shipyard. I will do my best to find one for you even if it is 20 years old.

There are histories of almost all Romanian Shipyards published in the '70 ies. Turna Severin has a special monography waiting to be published, but there are no money in the near future.

I have saw Turnu Severin is not privatised.
Last year was the best in the history of shipbuilding, most ships were built, but not for the Europen shipyards. |

Almost all Romanian Shipyards are booked till 2005 ( including ) and work at all capacity. The most outstanding is Galatzi known today as Damen Shipyard ( Dutch ). Almost all ships are build for Dutch, German, Norway of Irish customers.
