I found on this site http://eng.9may.ru/eng_album_adf/m9005843
more than 100 war stories, about russian soldiers who fought in ww2 against germans. In one of the stories, my attention was draw by this little claiming: Quote: "... Ivan Koshel accomplished another feat in the Tatra Mountains where he commanded a scout platoon. Once his platoon ran into a Romanian artillery unit and launched a surprise attack. They captured 20 Romanian soldiers without losses." End of the quote. This I Koshel was a soviet officer, and IFAIK, when romanians fought in Tatra Mountains, they were allied with the soviets. One can read the entire story, to learn all way of fight of this I Koshel, but I'm saying that he captured an allied romanian artillery unit. |

I think they captured the romanian unit without losses because the romanians realiesd the guys were russians and didn`t shoot at their allies . Maybe the Russian guy was under "Vodka effect" .
