Can you tell us more about what area the map represents??

The more information you supply will help generate more interest in the item and raise the chance of a potential sale

if you look with attention on that map you'll see that the conflict zones are on actual road directions(compare with a actual map)

this is a map that i bought 2 weeks ago from antique....

i understand what you're trying to find....i wish to find something like: the battle took place in tg frumos, outside the village, on the road to iasi at 2oo m on left laugh.gif

trust me i know what you're feelings are..... i ask man to man if they have ww2 stuff and nichts, and i see on tv that in a village some kids found a mauser with bullets , etc

Well, I was interested in finding out just what the map represented or more simply what was represented on the map. The meaning of the symbols.

It appears to be a map of Romania so the detail will be very general.

Not all the members here speak or read Romanian so a translation of the title on the top of the map would have been helpful.

You dont mention if it has got a date on it?

You dont mention if the map carries any stamps on it (normaly found on the back) to identify to which unit it was issued.

Is it a Military or Police item??

Point 1: You have no idea of what I am trying to find, especially as I just asked you to post more information about the item being sold.

Point 2: You have no idea what my feelings are, I dont buy any item unless there is a very good description given about it, just because somebody claims its old its and antique.

Point 3: So some children found a rifle and ammunition, it was handed to the Police as is required by the law here in Romania, the same law applys in the west, in Germany if you had a firearms certificate "Waffenschein" you could keep the rifle (does not apply to automatic and semi automatic weapons). But first it has to documented by the Police.

Holding on to a weapon without informing the Police can lead to big problems, and I do not condone anybody doing it.

Now as you claim to know me so well you might give me some more information as with regards the map tongue.gif
