More than a year after I submitted them, my 3 Bf-109s from the ARR have FINALLY been included in the latest release. Heres a few screenshots, and thanks to all who helped with photos and feedback way back when. I think I'll be doing a few more at some point down the road.

Bf-109G6 from Grupul 9, as shown in the profile section of Denes Bernads "Romanian Aces of WWII" from Osprey Publishing.

Bazu's Bf-109G2 from Grupul 7. Not happy with how this one turned out to be honest, I'll probably redo it.

And the one I think turned out the best, De Cesare's Emil.

Any suggestions (with images preferably) for future projects would be very welcomed.

Very nice work, Treize ('13'). I am glad my book was put to good use.

Finally, someone who uses in an application the correct fuselage number for DiCesare's 'Hai fetito!"...

"White 2" was Cpt. Popescu Ciocanel mount. Nice tribute for a brave romanian fighter pilot.

Congrats. to you Treize for all the work to promote romanian aces planes in " Aces High " sim.

Yes, that's correct. It's mentioned on p. 95 of my quoted book. He was shot down aboard this aircraft on 26 July 1944, in combat with P-51s of the 52nd F. G.

Then I guess its fitting that most of the kills I've gotten in his Gheul since the release have been B-24s, B-17s, and P-51s. I seem to come across at least one of the 3 every flight.

I'm very glad they are appreciated, and any other suggestions are very welcome. I'd like to do at least 2 of each of the types we have that the ARR flew. We have the E4, G2, G6, G14, and K4. ARR didn't use the K4 I know, but our G14 looks just like the late model G6s with the tall tail and Galland Hood, so I'd like to do one up with the pro-Allied markings.

And so far the only fight I've gotten into flying De Cesares Emil was a Hurricane IIc in VVS markings I bounced while he was strafing a supply convoy. I thought that was pretty fitting as well. biggrin.gif

I wish the pics at the top of the thread still showed, if anyone wants to see them again I can try and find them on my computer and put them back online.

Heres two more screenshots of "my" 109s in action- the first is Contacuzino's 109G2 making a high side run on a B-17 and getting good hits in teh wingroot, the other is "White 2" after blowing up 1 B-17 and raking another on his way through the formation. Second pic is taken from the pilots seat of the B-17 I just raked.
