Does anyone have any good photos, or quality colour shots of the Batons of the Marshals of Romania.
They seem to be off different styles of insignia and length. I presume they were red and gold similar to British and later Nazi German batons. I have a few pics, mostly of Carol II holding his Baton. Are there any in Romanian Museums? Any colour photos or close ups of them? Some more pics of King Michael with his Marshals Baton.
One if of a Fresco of the the King with his baton to the side. You can clearly see the red colour of the Baton. The second is a pic of the King and Antonescu. It could be a trick of the camera, but Antonescu's baton looks longer than Michaels. That is a great photo! Its just what I had been after! Marshals Batons are a much forgotten part of Military heritage! Any idea who's Baton that was?!?!?!!?!? |

Whats the English Translation of the title of this book? Does the booklet all come together or is the poster with the picture of the Marshals Baton seperate? |

In fact it is only a poster! On the obverse side you have a small history with pics regarding the Marshal Baton and the reverse side is a poster with the baton, epaulettes and awarding document of Constantin Prezan.
