Sublocotenent Group: Banned Posts: 422 Member No.: 21 Joined: June 24, 2003	Found a very rare photograph with a shot down Romanian Heinke 112, with a number 18, the plane is wrecked and a Soviet Soldier is guarding it. I think this is the same plane as in the photograph below: I hope this picture works: Who flew this "18" and under what conditions was it brought down? Who was the pilot and what happend to him?

Admin Group: Admin Posts: 4350 Member No.: 3 Joined: February 11, 2003	The aircraft was brought down by Soviet AAA on 2 July 1941 during a ground attack mission. Adj. stg. ® av. Aldea Cerchez was taken as POW by the Soviets. See pag. 16 of Denes' book "Rumanian Air Force: the prime decade"
