Found a very rare photograph with a shot down Romanian Heinke 112, with a number 18, the plane is wrecked and a Soviet Soldier is guarding it.
I think this is the same plane as in the photograph below:
I hope this picture works:
Who flew this "18" and under what conditions was it brought down? Who was the pilot and what happend to him? |

The aircraft was brought down by Soviet AAA on 2 July 1941 during a ground attack mission.
Adj. stg. ® av. Aldea Cerchez was taken as POW by the Soviets. See pag. 16 of Denes' book "Rumanian Air Force: the prime decade" |
