In the photo "Gorju Regiment No.18" the priest has two medals, more than most of the officers in the photo. (The priest is in the right.)

I remember from Cernica Cemetery a grave of a military priest with 5 decorations on his stone statue. The clue for medals was his participation in the Independence War 1877-1878.
