June 1945 Southern Group of soviet forces was formed in Rumania/Bulgari area.
major ground elements included where: 46th Army at Cluj Dej Oradea area with 10th and 24th guards infantry korps, 68th inf korps 57th Army at Lugoj Oravitsa Turnu Severin area with 6th guards, 64th and 104th infantry korpses 27th Army at Braila Buzau Galati area with 35th guards and 33th and 37th infkorps 37th Army 26th army and other units... Who can tell about exact positions and baaracks for these? Jeroen |
