What happened with the old forum skin? In my opinion the old one was nicer.

The current skin is not nailed, but meantime you can use the old skin by entering My Controls -> Skins and Languages (under Options, in the left side menu), and select Invision Power Board.

My opinion is that it is a matter of getting used to the new skin. However, with the new skin while having better contrast in general, in particular it is hard to see at a glance the topics with new messages.

This can be solved. But I only use the "View New Posts" feature, so contrast in topic icons is not needed. |

Of course one can see all the new posts with "View New Posts", but what I meant to say was that the orange 'blobs' in the previous skin were much easier to spot than the rather discrete arrows in the new one. |

Changed to the old skin - more pleasant nad easier to navigate.

I have restored the default skin, the new one remaining at the preference of user to select by using My Controls.
