Yes, I also noticed it. Very good photo, by the way. I read (in an old issue of Avions) that Romania used 120 Potez XV, quite a lot by 1920s standards.

The first aircraft is a Luftwaffe Hs 126 (not photographed in Rumania), the second one a German W.W. 1 fighter, the third one is the trio of 'Dracii Rosii' (Red Devils), while the fourth one a Potez XXV in front of the main hangar of the I.A.R. Brasov aircraft factory.

thanks Denes. I forgot to mention the type of the planes. the wwI figther is a LVG I suppose, and could be made somewhere in Romania. If someone whant i will add a scan of the back to see the names of the pilots.
On the verso of the photo with Potez XXV is written:
suvenir de la ??? IAR ziua aviatie la Bvs?.Punct principal din program lansarea Drei. Braescu cu parasuta.
the year is unclear written , but you can see the verso here:

King ferdinand? Notice the flag with the Royal Seal of King Ferdinand placed over the tricolour.

Not a politician. If you look carefully, you can see it is a soldier, a very important soldier. biggrin.gif See the reply on Cartula.
It looks like it is the funeral of King Ferdinand.
