I´ve heard that the romanian arny used german Panther tanks in the postwar era, so now I wonder how many did they use and when were they withdrawn from service?

After the war, USSR supplied Romania with a number of AFVs captured from the German army, including Panther D, A and G, Hummel and JgdPz IV. On 15 November 1947, Romanian army had 13 SdKfz 222 armored cars, 7 light tanks of various type, 53 PzKpfw IV, 13 Panther tanks (Romanian designation T-5) and 31 self-propelled guns. The Panther tanks were withdrawn from serviced in 1954, being replaced with Soviet armor, in particular T-34/85 tanks.
