During the last years I had the oportunity to find few medals issued in the honor of Franz Josef's visit in Romania in 1896.This one was issued after His visit in Sinaia and Bucuresti. Here is the photo.

There were three more similar medals:
- The visit of Austro-Hungarian emperor Franz Josef to Romania - 1896, 16-18 September, engraved by Carniol Fiul, 76 mm
- The visit of Austro-Hungarian emperor Franz Josef to the Cotroceni Palace - 1896, 16/28-17/29 September, engraved by Carniol Fiul, 33 mm
- The visit of Austro-Hungarian emperor Franz Josef to the Bucharest forts - 1896, 17/29 September, engraved by Carniol Fiul, 33 mm
