No, Cpt. av. Ghica was not credited with a "kill" on his last flight. It was Hautpmann (which means Captain) Wilhelm Steinmann who was officially credited with finishing off the B-24D. Dénes |

The article dealt only with the Romanians, not also with the Germans.

Found another pilot killed by friendly fire
Top German P-47 killer,Wilhelm Hoffmann(44 vict. 13 P-47) was hit by his wingman and had to bale out but was to low in order to deploy his para. :cry: |
