1944 Moldova operations

General de brigada Group: Members Posts: 1058 Member No.: 328 Joined: August 20, 2004	Can you please ahve a look at this map and let me know if there are any locations that should be in it - important locations for 1944 operations - ? Ungheni, Podu Iloaiei, Ruginoasa and Moţca for example are missing from your map. You also missed the diacritics in some of the names (Paşcani, Leţcani).

Admin Group: Admin Posts: 4350 Member No.: 3 Joined: February 11, 2003	Podu Iloaiei should definately be there and Lespezi also. These were targets for Romanian fighter-bombers. Maybe also Ruginoasa. Are interested also in locations for ground fighting?

Do you have photos of the old airport or were you interested in the location only?

If anyone has ANY photos at all with airfields in Moldova/Basarbia, please contact me, I really need them (they are not for personal use but for a better understanding of romanian cotribution at ww2).
