Can you please ahve a look at this map and let me know if there are any locations that should be in it - important locations for 1944 operations - ? Also please correct any mistakes I made (names/rivers/roads) - this is really important.

You may want to take a look at the map below (from Iaşi City Council).
![]() Ungheni, Podu Iloaiei, Ruginoasa and Moţca for example are missing from your map. You also missed the diacritics in some of the names (Paşcani, Leţcani). |

Podu Iloaiei should definately be there and Lespezi also. These were targets for Romanian fighter-bombers. Maybe also Ruginoasa. Are interested also in locations for ground fighting?

Yes Victor, ground action also important. Will try to put "Podul Ilioaei" (how is it correct: Iloaiei or Ilioaiei ?) and Lespezi - will give a yell if I am unable |

Do you have photos of the old airport or were you interested in the location only? |

Unfortunaetlly I do not - I was hoping to get at least the location right.. If anyone has ANY photos at all with airfields in Moldova/Basarbia, please contact me, I really need them (they are not for personal use but for a better understanding of romanian cotribution at ww2).

Does anyone have aerial hptographs of Moldavian crop fiels during ww2 ? I am interested to see how they were shaped - if it was any different from what we see today.
