I believe it's a Potez XV.
I have to check my references though.

This answer needs much attentions to the details... From my eyes, and i'm not a spec. it looks like an Breguet.

Can anyone tell me more about this picture - especially the airplane type?

Thanks for your answers. So was this a plane used by the Romanian Air Force in 1925? Was it a fighter, bomber, or recon? Were these planes (or any others) used by Romania in the First World War?

I admit to unfortunately knowing much too little about aviation.

The Potez XV was basically a reconnaissance/light bomber airplane.
It entered in ARR service only post-war.

I'd say it's a Bf 109E.

That is an IAR 39 (or 38) biplane.
Probably the Mig-3 is the one captured by romanians ( IAR 39 observation unit) and the german guy wanted a picture near him. The MIG rudder looks like overpainted with romanian markings.

There is a whole article about this captured Mig-3 here.
The plane in the background looks like an IAR 80.

No, it's a biplane from the I.A.R. 37/38/39 family.
